Reverse RSI Phantom TradingView Indicator

The default RSI sits in a window below your candles, so your eyes scan up and down on every read. Also, when it prints seventy, you have no idea what price brings it back to seventy again. Overbought is a number, not a place. Indeed, reverse RSI Phantom is an RSI overbought oversold indicator TradingView traders read at a glance, because it inverts the formula and plots those levels as price bands right on the candles.

What Reverse RSI Phantom shows on your chart

The tool draws three live bands on your chart: the price where RSI equals seventy, thirty, and fifty right now. Still, overbought and oversold become chart locations you can see. On top of the bands sit BUY and SELL signals, each labelled with confluence stars, plus regular RSI divergence markers. Thus, when a signal prints, three take-profit lines and a stop draw forward with price labels. A sixteen-row dashboard reads out the RSI engine, live buy and sell scores, the active trade with target ticks, and win, loss, and performance counters.

Why Reverse RSI Phantom is different

Overbought and oversold, drawn on price

Reverse RSI Phantom inverts Wilder’s RSI math to answer a simple question: what price makes RSI hit seventy, thirty, or fifty right now? Hence, it plots those three prices as bands on your candles and updates them tick by tick. You stop translating an abstract oscillator reading into a mental price level, because the level is already on the chart.

The calculation is exact, not an approximation, and the bands settle from the previous bar’s values rather than drifting during the current bar. Next, that keeps the read stable while the candle forms. Reading momentum becomes a glance at where price sits against the bands, so pattern recognition on the candles is no longer broken by a separate window.

Confluence, divergence, and risk in one place

A five-layer confluence engine scores every signal: trend regime, RSI confirmation, a band retest, divergence, and a volume burst. Then, each BUY or SELL carries one to five stars for how many filters passed, and you set the minimum required. A Supertrend gate applied to the RSI midline can filter counter-trend signals when you want a stricter read.

Every signal draws an automatic stop and three take-profit targets, with a choice of ATR-plus-band, pure ATR, or recent-swing stop modes. Yet, live hit tracking drops labels where each target fires and feeds the dashboard’s win and loss counters. The thirteen-event alert package ships webhook-ready JSON, so signals, divergences, and target hits reach Telegram, Discord, or any bot.

How to trade it

Read the three bands first. Truly, price pressing the RSI-70 band reads stretched high; price at the RSI-30 band sits stretched low. The RSI-50 band marks the midline, and its color encodes the trend regime.

Wait for a BUY or SELL to print and close, then read the star count. Plainly, a signal that fires as price retests a band, with divergence and trend agreeing, carries more stars than one filter passing alone. Set your minimum confluence to match how selective you want to be.

Trade the levels the tool drew. Also, pick the stop mode that suits the market, take a partial at TP1, and let the live tracker mark each target. Manage the rest against the dashboard’s running win and loss read and your own plan.

Settings you control

Reverse RSI Phantom exposes its full input panel on the TradingView settings dialog. Indeed, the screenshot below shows the groups you can tune – signal sensitivity, the confluence filters, the dashboard and the trade levels. Defaults are set for a balanced starting point, and every input carries an on-hover tooltip.

Alerts and automation

Reverse RSI Phantom ships 13 alert conditions with a webhook-ready payload. Still, wire them to your phone, to email, or to a Telegram, Discord or automation endpoint, and the tool tells you the moment a signal confirms on the bar close – you do not have to watch the chart.

Any market, any timeframe

Reverse RSI Phantom reads price the same way everywhere, so the same setup carries to forex, gold, indices, crypto and stocks. Thus, the screenshot below shows it on a second market and timeframe.

Frequently asked questions

How does an RSI live on price?

Reverse RSI Phantom inverts Wilder’s formula to compute the price at which RSI would equal 70, 30, or 50 right now, then plots those prices as bands directly on your candles.

Do the bands or signals repaint?

No. Yet, signals confirm on the closed bar, and the bands read the previous bar’s settled values, so neither redraws mid-candle by design.

What are the five confluence layers?

Trend regime, RSI confirmation, a band retest, divergence, and a volume burst. Truly, each signal shows one to five stars for how many passed, and you set the minimum.

Which markets suit it best?

It works on every symbol type and timeframe from one minute to monthly. Plainly, the band-retest logic tends to shine in ranging conditions; adjust the confluence minimum for trends.

Does this indicator repaint?

Reverse RSI Phantom is built to confirm its signals on the close of the bar, so a printed signal stays put. As with any tool, test it on your own markets and timeframes before relying on it. Results are not guaranteed; past performance is not indicative of future results.
