3TP Easy Trade Pad EA for MT4 and MT5

Written by Dominic Walsh · Published · Last updated

The 3TP Easy Trade Pad is an automated expert advisor for MT4 and MT5. It opens and manages real trades on its own. It is a trade-management EA that enters one position on an EMA cross and then scales out across three take-profit levels.

This is not a chart tool. Once you enable trading, it places live orders. Each trade opens with a mandatory stop loss.

Risk warning

The 3TP Easy Trade Pad EA trades live capital automatically. Every trade opens with an initial stop loss. Test the EA on a demo account first, then move to a small live size. Only risk money you can afford to lose.

How the 3TP Easy Trade Pad EA trades

The 3TP Easy Trade Pad reads two moving averages, a fast EMA and a slow EMA. It acts only on the closed bar, so entries do not flicker mid-tick.

It opens one long position on an up-cross and one short position on a down-cross. Every entry carries an initial stop loss. From there the EA manages that single position across three take-profit distances.

It scales out part of the position at Tp1 and Tp2 with partial closes. Each partial is clamped to the broker’s minimum lot and step, so no invalid volume is ever left behind. After Tp1 it moves the stop to breakeven. After Tp2 it trails the stop. The broker take-profit then closes the remainder at Tp3.

Best practices

  • Run the EA on a demo account before you risk real money.
  • Use a VPS for steady 24/5 uptime and low latency.
  • Keep the stop loss on at all times.
  • Start with 0.01 lots or 1 percent risk while you learn the EA.
  • Re-test on your broker’s data before going live.
  • Do not run two EAs on the same magic number.

FAQ

Does the 3TP Easy Trade Pad place trades automatically?
Yes. Once you enable AutoTrading, the EA opens the position, scales out, and manages the stop on its own. You stay in control by toggling AutoTrading.

What stop loss does it use?
Every trade opens with an initial stop set by StopLossPips, 40 pips by default. The stop moves to breakeven after Tp1 and trails after Tp2.

Which pairs and timeframe should I use?
It was tested on USDJPY H1. You can apply it to other liquid pairs, but re-test each one first.

Can I change the risk or lot size?
Yes. Set a fixed lot with Lots, or switch MoneyMgmt to risk a set percent per trade with RiskPercent. You can also adjust each take-profit share.

Are results guaranteed?
No. Trading involves risk. Results are not guaranteed; past performance is not indicative of future results.
