The best agimat reversal indicator does not trade reversals against a trend. It waits for a pullback into the faster of two averages while the pair still points the same way, and it checks the market is moving enough to bother with. Fast EMA and Slow EMA both stay visible.
This build ships as a compiled .ex4 for MT4 and .ex5 for MT5; the screenshots below come from EURUSD H1.

Colours, widths and shapes
Fast EMA is the shorter average over FastEmaPeriod bars.
Slow EMA is the longer one over SlowEmaPeriod.
Buy sits under the low of a qualifying pullback in an upward pair.
Sell mirrors that when the pair points down.
- Fast EMA: line, gold, width 2
- Slow EMA: line, dodger blue, width 2
- Buy: arrow, lime, width 3, arrow code 233
- Sell: arrow, red, width 3, arrow code 234

From bar to value
The trend condition
Two averages get read on each bar at FastEmaPeriod and SlowEmaPeriod. Their order sets the direction the tool will look for a setup in.
At 20 and 50 the pair holds through ordinary noise. That matters, because the setup needs the trend still intact when the pullback arrives.
How close the pullback has to be
Price has to come back within AtrPullbackMult times ATR of the fast average. At 0.5 that is half an ATR, so the pullback has to be genuine rather than a glance in that direction.
Measuring the distance in ATR rather than points is what keeps the same setting working across instruments.
The volatility floor
The code averages ATR across the last twenty bars and compares the current reading against it, scaled by AtrMinMult.
A market moving less than that floor produces no setups at all. The point is to skip the dead stretches where a pullback into an average means nothing.
Making the output useful
Both averages stay on the chart, so you can see the trend condition rather than taking it on trust.
A marker means price came back to the fast average while the pair still pointed the same way.
Long gaps between markers usually mean volatility sat under the floor rather than that no pullbacks happened.
This is a continuation setup wearing a reversal name: it looks for a pullback, not a trend change.
Alert channels in this build: popup, push notification, email and sound, one message per closed bar.
Alerts cover popup, push, email and sound on each qualifying setup. A bar time check keeps it to one alert per closed bar.

Core settings
| Setting | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
FastEmaPeriod |
FastEmaPeriod is the average price has to pull back into. It defaults to 20. | 20 |
SlowEmaPeriod |
SlowEmaPeriod is the longer one that sets the trend condition, 50 by default. | 50 |
AtrPeriod |
AtrPeriod is the volatility window behind both the pullback distance and the floor, 14 by default. | 14 |
AtrPullbackMult |
signal must be within N*ATR of fast EMA. AtrPullbackMult is how close to the fast average price must come, as a fraction of ATR. It defaults to 0.5. | 0.5 |
AtrMinMult |
current ATR must exceed N*ATR_avg(20) to filter dead chop. AtrMinMult sets the volatility floor against the twenty bar ATR average, 0.6 by default. | 0.6 |

Markets and timeframes
The screenshot uses EURUSD H1. A 20 and 50 pair on H1 holds its order through a session, which gives pullbacks time to develop. On H4 the setups become rare and each covers a lot of ground. On M5 the pair reorders so often that the trend condition stops meaning much.
What this one cannot tell you
The name says reversal and the logic looks for continuation. Anyone expecting a counter trend tool will read the markers backwards.
A pullback into an average is the most common setup there is, so plenty of markers appear in trends that then end.
The volatility floor uses a twenty bar ATR average, which lags. It can still be reading high just as conditions go quiet.
Nothing here measures structure. A pullback into the fast average counts the same whether it happens at a prior high or in open space.

FAQ
Is this actually a reversal tool?
Not in the counter trend sense. It needs the two averages already ordered one way, then waits for price to pull back into the faster one. That is a continuation setup. The reversal in the name refers to the pullback turning, not to the trend changing direction.
What does AtrPullbackMult 0.5 require of the pullback?
Price has to come within half an ATR of the Fast EMA. Measuring in ATR rather than points means the same setting works across instruments, since half an ATR on gold is a far larger distance than half an ATR on a currency pair, exactly as it should be.
What does the AtrMinMult floor filter out?
Dead conditions. The code averages ATR over twenty bars and compares the current reading against that, scaled by AtrMinMult at 0.6. If the market is moving less than that, no marker prints however good the pullback looks.
Why keep both the Fast EMA and Slow EMA on the chart?
So you can see the trend condition instead of trusting it. Watch whether the pair sits wide apart or converging when a marker appears. That is the difference between a pullback in a healthy trend and one in a trend already stalling.
Are results guaranteed?
